Routes Recipes & Reflections

Food has always been big part in my family & friend gatherings.  When there's a birthday, we eat.  When there's a funeral, we eat.  When there's no reason at all, but just getting together, we eat.  I never realized how special some of those meals and dishes were.  Now I'm left with some of my most treasured keepsakes...hand written recipes from my mom, grandmothers, friends and cousins.  Printing out an internet recipe is easy these days, but there is nothing like reading my favorite dessert recipe in my mom's handwriting.  Here, you will find my friend's and family's, old and new, favorite recipes.
