My love for Christmas and coffee make this one of my favorite hot drinks of the winter season. It gets festive when topped with the whipped cream, sprinkled with cinnamon and nutmeg.
You don’t have to save it for Christmas morning. It will take the chill out of the air on any cold winter morning or night! This is my single serve recipe, but if you have guests, you may need the whole pot of coffee for this one!
Serve it with Kim's Snickerdoodle Biscotti for a match made in heaven!
SERVINGS: 1
INGREDIENTS
1 cup brewed coffee
3 tsp sugar
1 1/4 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
whipped cream
pinch nutmeg
pinch cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
Add sugar, cocoa powder and cinnamon to cup of coffee. Mix well. (You can add a little more or less of each, to suit your taste.)
Top with whipped cream. Sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon.
